Ingredients
1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
4 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)
¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional, for garnish)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Brussels sprouts by trimming the ends and slicing them in half.
- Toss with seasonings – in a large bowl, mix Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add bacon – spread the Brussels sprouts on the baking sheet and evenly distribute the chopped bacon over them.
- Roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the sprouts are golden brown and crispy, and the bacon is fully cooked.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze (if using) and sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
